Henry Baesemann was born on October 7, 1851 in a family of seven children to John and Ernestina (Gruel) Baesemann. John Baesemann was born in Germany and was eighteen years of age when he accompanied his parents to the United States.
Accomplishments:
Henry Baesemann, with his brother Gustav, under the firm style of Baesemann Brothers, bought eighty acres of land from their father and continued together as lumbermen until 1903. Henry Baesemann owned twenty-six acres in the village of Rib Falls.
Henry Baesemann married Miss Louisa Gahelain of Milwaukee. Mr. Baesemann was a member of the committee of prominent citizens that built the creamery in Rib Falls. He was a shareholder in the Marathon County Tile Company.
Henry Baesemann died in 1927. He is buried in the Baesemann Family Cemetery in Rib Falls, WI.
