Background:

Emmonsville was located near the NE corner of Hwy. N & Hwy. Y in Plover Twp. and the Plover River. The 1901 plat map shows a joint school (w/Norrie Twp.) at that intersection. Current plat maps show homes scattered along both N and Y.
