Explore sites from local history along 'Side Streets of Downtown Wausau'

History Speaks at the Woodson History Center: Side Streets of Downtown Wausau

Gary Gisselman will step off the “beaten path” when the Marathon County Historical Society presents “Side Streets of Downtown Wausau,” another topic in our History Speaks series. Join us for this presentation at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019, at the Woodson History Center, 410 McIndoe St., Wausau.

The presentation will take a look beyond the main streets of Wausau, to other sites that graced the central part of the city. Together, they broaden the story of this community.

Gary Gisselman is the research librarian at the Marathon County Historical Society, and a walking “encyclopedia” of local history.

There is no admission fee; however, donations are appreciated.  Registration is not required.

The Historical Society is grateful to Janke Book Store and to Compass Properties for their sponsorship of the History Speaks series.
